Childhood favorites and old-fashioned flavors that remind us of simpler times are making a comeback, and we are here for it. Drinks with candy fruit flavors like cherry, green apple and watermelon will bring a sense of carefree summer days, while drinks you haven’t had in decades, like ice cream sodas and Coke floats, will have you feeling like a big kid in no time.  Though nuanced, complex flavors have made beverages feel upscale and exclusive more recently, these more direct flavor profiles with fewer bells and whistles are easier to recognize as familiar tastes. If there’s going to be any changes at all to these retro drinks, it’s that adding booze will create a distinctly adults-only version of these classics. Cheers!
